Categorical feature of 1.6.x for XGBoost4J?

Looks like the categorical feature of XGBoost 1.6.x is not available for XGBoost4J (https://github.com/dmlc/xgboost/blob/ee382c4153a675b0ecd21cc940e55ae8ae509a25/NEWS.md).

Just trying to confirm, have I got this right?
If yes, do we have an approximate timeline for when this might be released?

@ic10503 I dont see it either. Was working with Hist gradient boosting where I used categorical_feature and was expecting something similar in xgboost.
