Objective function is currently not supported by XGBRanker

Dear all,
for the current release XGBoost 0.90, it says: ‘objective function is currently not supported by XGBRanker’
Could anyone give me some hints on making it available, say enabling XGBRanker supporting objective function?

I’m currently self-studying the topic of learning-to-rank. Currently, there is no concrete plan for adding XGBRanker custom objective, but I’d like to come to it at some point, as my schedule allows.
