Does anyone have any idea of when Scala 2.13 will be supported?

For anyone else who is interested in this, what I have heard is:
“No concrete estimate yet. Spark 3.0 is built with Scala 2.12. The policy is that XGBoost JVM package uses the version of Scala that’s used by Spark. As a result, we probably won’t support Scala 2.13 for a while.”
