XGBRanker predictions are negative

My XGBRanker predictions are negative and sometimes they are positive integers. what’s the meaning of these negative and positive signs, how should we interpret?

e.g. [-4.1600857 -0.7968604]

The scores indicate the relative ordering between the documents in the test set. See Evaluating XGBoost Ranking
